North Isle Sailing's Digital Brochure
The moment your captain steers beneath beautiful Deception Pass Bridge you realize that your adventure has begun. You are sailing aboard the luxury sailing yacht Sea Fever III on the way to Washington State's beautiful San Juan Islands. As Whidbey Island and Deception Pass fall behind you keep your eyes peeled for wildlife. You are soon rewarded by the sight of seals sunning themselves on some offshore rocks while an eagle soars lazily overhead.
Eventually you make your way north to Sucia Island, one of the many state parks accessible only by private boat. Sucia is the largest of the marine state parks and also the most popular, and for good reason; hiking trails, sandstone cliffs, numerous beaches and coves make for an incredibly varied environment. After anchoring in Fossil Bay on Sucia you have a chance to get ashore for a little exploring and beach combing. Later in the cockpit of your yacht you enjoy a perfect Northwest sunset and then a wonderful meal prepared for you by your captain.
After a good night's rest in your private cabin, when the wind and tide are right, you head down President's Channel. Perhaps along the way you will make a lunch stop at Jones Island, where the deer are so tame they eat out of your hand. Then you're on your way to your next destination, Roche Harbor Resort. Roche Harbor is the preeminent boater's resort in the islands. While there, enjoy the full facilities of the resort, play tennis, swim in the pool, explore the gardens, or just lay back and relax. At sundown take in the famous sunset ceremony and then enjoy the fine cuisine at the resort's restaurant.
Your final day features a leisurely sail back through the San Juans. The crystal clear waters are liberally sprinkled with islands of all sizes. If you wish, tell your captain to stop at Friday Harbor so you can do a little shopping in this quaint waterfront town.
Finally, Deception Pass Bridge again looms into sight. Your adventure has come to a close. The memories, however, will last forever.

The Boat Sea Fever III is a Catalina 36 sailing yacht. The functional three cabin arrangement assures privacy for two couples or a family with children. The complete galley serves as the center for complete meals afloat. Hot and cold pressurized water is available and the head is equipped with a shower.
The vessel is a fine performing yacht with normal sail or running under her brightly colored spinnaker. The prevailing winds in the summer months are light to moderate and you are invited to participate in the running of the boat as much or as little as you like.
Your Skipper

Your captain and host is Dick Eigenraam. Dick is a Coast Guard licensed captain. He has been sailing the inland waters of Washington and British Columbia for over twenty years. Before that Dick did his boating on the East Coast on the waters of Long Island Sound and Narragansett Bay.
