Sailing the Greek Islands, hiking the mountain tops of New Zealand, diving the Great Barrier Reef, watching the lions on an African safari, sipping a cool caipirinha at Carnival in Brazil, whale watching in Alaska. All once in a lifetime adventures many people never get the chance to experience. How would you like to do them all and then some? What would you do if you didn’t have to worry about commutes, deadlines and trading time for money at a typical job with only two weeks vacation per year? Where would you go? What skills would you improve? What would you learn along the way?

I’m not suggesting you quit your job, sell all of your worldly possessions and become a nomad living out of a backpack, although some of you might enjoy that. For most people living out of a portable closet is not their ideal lifestyle but the freedom to live life on their terms is.

In the past, freedom was reserved for people with expendable income or wealthy relatives. Now, with the right business model anyone can experience freedom.

“The 4 Hour Work Week” by Timothy Ferriss will open your eyes to opportunities that lie before you. For some, a change in profession is required before mini retirements can begin. You may not be able to “fire your boss” or work remotely in your current job. Ferriss discusses how to find the right business for you, get it started, separate yourself from it and have the adventures you always dreamed of. Many find that conventional investment and business is a long, hard road to financial freedom. If you don’t have thousands of dollars, hundreds of hours and a light bulb glowing over your head don’t panic, there is still a business opportunity that can get you on your gondola ride through Venice.

Network marketing combined with a proven system fits perfectly into the ideals of the new rich. We have learned that a unique wealth-building

concept will allow you the freedom to live, work and learn from where ever you hang your hat. It is a chance to have a passive, leveraged income that never stops working for you, instead of the other way around. Trading time for money is not smart business. You weren’t put on this earth to slave yourself to an early grave. A small direct investment in products that you are already using could be all it takes to get you on the next plane to China to walk the Great Wall.

You may be stuck in that cubicle for life as this opportunity is not for everyone. It takes discipline and dedication to start your own home-based business. People succeed in network marketing if they are leaders who can roll up their sleeves and follow training from coaches.

But it starts with you. You must envision yourself making what you want from where ever in the world you want. Start concentrating on things that matter most: your family, hobbies, travel, friends and new experiences. In the past year and a half, because of network marketing, I have lived in 3 different countries, learned to play tennis, shaved 12 strokes off my golf game and spent more time with my family than I ever thought possible. I have been diving in the Caribbean and the Middle East, watched camel races, have mastered a challenging video editing program and much more during my mini retirements. I will never go back to a traditional business or working for someone else now that I know what it feels like to be my own boss. I’m 32 years of age and I am NEVER coming out of retirement.

Where will your mini retirements take you? What will you learn? How will your life improve? How will you improve the life of others? Dream big and start today!

Make it a great day!
